MCM #9 – AQS Quilt Show

This week I get to spend some special quality quilty time with my sister and a few of her friends from her quilting group.  I’m pretty excited that we’re going to attend the AQS Quilt Show in Lancaster, PA.

This will be the first big show I have ever attended, and I’m not sure what to expect.  It actually sounds a lot like QuiltCon, with lectures, classes, and vendors but I don’t think it is as big. Since Pennsylvania is a lot closer to me than Texas, this will get to be my QuiltCon! 🙂

We are only going for a day, so I didn’t register for any classes. There were a few I would have been interested in taking, so if I like what I see this year maybe I’ll get to participate in some classes next year.

If you live nearby, this show might be one you will be interested in checking out. Or maybe you have in the past and you can share your thoughts!

I’m excited to go and talk all things quilting with my sister and her friends. It will be a fun week and I look forward to sharing with you all that I see this week.

So, this is definitely my Main Crush Monday for this week!  What’s yours? I’d love to see what you are excited about and working on this week.  You can link up below. Here’s how:

The actual show is the least of it. The shops in the area have terrific prices on materials and are open late Friday night with specials. There are many many great shops in the area. The renegade shops are open across from the Host Hotel on 30. I’ll be there on Friday, so I’d love to meet you. LeeAnna at not afraid of color
