MCM #16 – Quilting Beautiful Blues

I had the privilege to quilt a top for my friend Carol. She sent me a lovely pieced top in blues and creams and asked me to quilt it in any design. I was excited to work on this top because it gave me an opportunity to quilt many different designs.

Instead of talking about the quilting, I’m just going to show you.

The gingham really hides the stitching, but shows the great texture.

Border Quilting

I love how the border looks (above) and really enjoyed quilting this for Carol. I’m so happy to share it with you. šŸ™‚

That’s what I’m crushing on this week; how about you? I would love to see what you are working on and what projects you are excited about. You can link up any post or Instagram pic – here’s how:

About Beth

I’m a wife, mother of two, and lover of all things crafty. I love to cook up new things in the kitchen and in my craft room, and sometimes get “licking the spoon” mixed up with “licking the fabric”!!

Your quilting is so pretty. I think my favorite part is the arcs around the star.
