January OMG – The Twelve Year Quilt

Well drat! I really wanted to finish the 12 Year Quilt in 2016 because I didn’t want to call it the 13 Year Quilt. 🙂

Remember this?

Winning hand Flimsy Quilt Top

I started the quilting but I didn’t get it finished, so I am setting that as my January One Monthly Goal and linking up with Patty at Elm Street Quilts.

This is my first time participating in the monthly linky party. My hope is that it will keep me on track and help me to finish up some of the projects hanging out in my sewing room.

This quilt is taking some time as I am quilting a crosshatch in the background of all the blocks. I have almost half of the quilting done and am really going to push myself to finish it this month.

Maybe then I can call it the 12 Year, 1 Month Quilt!

  1. The project I’m working on is very old as well (more than 12 years), pretty fabrics in your card trick. These challenges help me to accomplish things as well, happy to be taking part in OMG.
