Happy Mail Day

Last week I was just hanging out on Instagram, doing my thing — you know, looking at all the yummy inspiration I find there and drooling over all the pretty things — when I saw a post by Corey Yoder (@corianderquilts). She was hosting a giveaway of the November Sew Sampler box from Fat Quarter Shop.

Usually I don’t enter giveaways because there are just so many hoops to jump through to enter. But Corey’s was easy…..just comment on the things you are most thankful for this year. Now that I could do! I left a comment, and a few days later I got a message that I was the winner! Whoop!! First giveaway I’ve ever won – you should have seen me doing the happy dance.

Look what came in the box:

November Sew Sampler BoxTalk about happy mail!

I can’t wait to use those ‘Olive’s Flower Market’ charm packs, Aurifil thread is always a treat, the pattern from Lella Boutique uses my favorite half square triangles, there’s a cool desk calendar, and that mini cutting mat is going to be so useful in my paper piecing projects. Score!

It was such a fun box to receive and it made me happy – I couldn’t wait to show it to you.

I’ve got more happy mail coming because I’ve been doing my share of Cyber Monday shopping. 😉 Do you have happy mail coming to you?

Very fun mail! Yep, I did the Cyber Monday thing. Now I’m hoping it all shows up before Christmas.

Congratulations, Beth. You really got a lot of good quilty stuff. I did buy some things that will come in the mail over the next week or so.

What a fun box of goodies you won. I enter as many “easy” give aways that I can — I don’t do all the for extra entry do this and that. I’ve won some wonderful items though. It’s so much fun to get packages in the mail. No fun stuff coming in the mail for me. I’ve got a few Christmas presents for the grands coming but that is about it. Sigh.

  4. Congratulations! I really like that you got two charm packs and the whole box looks like it was fun to open and go through. 🙂

I have seen those boxes advertised and always wonder if they are worth it and if what is in it would be something I would use – looks like you got a really good box!

  6. When that sampler box arrived in my mailbox, it was a happy day indeed! Really fun stuff in this box! I love the fabric; might need to pet it for awhile. The needles were timely, as I was running low. So happy for your win! I did do a tiny bit of shopping during the weekend; went to get a Christmas gift at my LQS. Went in for one thing. Came out with FOUR. Hahahaha. Needless to say, the shop owner was grinning from ear to ear.

  7. Oh yes I do, couldn’t resist the sales at three of my favorite quilty online shops.
