A Quicky Note

Last night I was enjoying the Periscope Hop by the #honestcraftroomies. I don’t always get to join in but I was glad to be able to watch this one. The topic was Photography Tips & Tricks so I was super interested.  My pics need help!

Lorinda @ laurelpoppyandpine gave a fabulous tip that I tried and wanted to show you. She said she mostly takes her blog pics with her phone and her number one tip was to clean the phone lens.  Who knew????

So I did. And I took two quick, sitting on the bed at night, pics.

Here is before I cleaned the lens:

Here is AFTER I cleaned the lens:

Pic-B

People! Clean those lenses! I did no editing on these two pictures, except to resize them for this post. I am amazed at the difference….it’s the little things, you know?

This was a great hop and I was so happy to watch it. There were some really great tips that will be very helpful to me.

You still have time to catch the video’s on replay. The participants last night were:

  • Lorinda @laurelpoppyandpine
  • Kitty @nightquilter
  • Bethany @sewnotperfect
  • Linette @ laquintaquilts
  • Daisy @antstosugar
  • Sarah @sarahgoer

Happy Wednesday,

Beth 🙂

  1. I missed that tip, will try that. But I did here Sarah talk about the foam board at Dollar Tree…what a deal!

  2. Jen says:

Well. Who knew! I will definitely put this tip to good use!

  3. Lea Anne says:

I found that the little alcohol wipes Doctors use before giving you a shot or drawing blood works great for this. And I can keep a few in my purse for impulse photography.

  4. Jasmine says:

My boys smudge my camera lens more than I’d like. I now clean mine regularly. It is a great tip.
